The Tactical Needle to Rapidly Treat Symptoms of Tension Pneumothorax

The Dart gives responders at any skill level the confidence and capability to perform reliable chest decompression and improve outcomes for casualties with signs and symptoms of a tension pneumothorax, the third leading cause of preventable combat death.1

The Dart is a sterile, 14 gauge x 3.25” tension needle with a thick-walled, uniform catheter. The tactical design minimizes risk of collapse in the intercostal space and need for additional decompression attempts. The sure-grip hub ensures stability in low-light, tactical situations. The rugged case was designed for easy, one-handed opening and doubles as a sharps container for patient and practitioner safety.

With a six-year shelf life, the Dart lowers lifecycle costs when compared to most chest decompression needles.
